Still no name for my new cat! Will post pics eventually so you can think of some names July 8th I went to the Chicago White Sox vs. Minnesota Twins game! LOL my dad and I were rooting for the Twins while my bro wanted the Sox to win! We didn't catch any balls but some came kinda close Sox won, 6-3 Oh well The weirdest thing happened though! I GOT SUNBURN WHEN WE WERE SITTING IN THE SHADE THE WHOLE TIME! It was like 95ยบ there, but the shade wasn't too bad. But that's just that I got mild sunburn in the shade.... maybe I got it on the 5 minute walks to/from our car... My eyes got sunburn too (turned a bit red... looked like i was crying ) July 9th I went to track practice, then just played on the comp the rest of the day cuz no one was home I also released Level 7 (btw 0.90 is possible, but my best is 33.xxx) There was also some nasty thunderstorms an hour ago with hail hail is COOL

It's funny how people can get sunburn in weird ways. A 5 minute walk in the total sun each way would probably burn you at least a little, though. I agree that hail is really COOL, but we almost never seem to get it around here. It's just boring ol' rain.

You're more likely to get sunburnt on a cloudy day than a sunny one because the UV rays come through the clouds the same way, but when they reflect off the face of the earth back toward space the clouds reflect some back down again, so the UV levels are actually higher. Dunno how that would effect your situation being in the shade, but it's an interesting fact. btw, hail sucks. Maybe other places don't get it as bad as Iowa, but when we get it it'll break windows and leave dents in cars... not cool at all. Sometimes it's not that bad, but even then it makes a ton of noise and always knocks the power out for our neighborhood. Our neighborhood has a really problematic power supply.
