Hello! I just got Marble Blast Future for myself, and I installed it according to the Mac Installation Instructions (I have a mac) but when I opened it, the game only shows a white screen and the spinny beach ball. Later, I got Marble Blast Emerald, and installed it all accordingly. The same problem occured, with the white screen and loading mouse. I had to force quit. Does anybody else get this problem? I have a Marble Blast Gold from when the game was given out with computers, and mine is unmodded. Any answers? (sorry if this topic is in the wrong board)

First: post a console.log. Run the game, then after you quit it, go into your [username] folder, then into the Library folder. If you can't find the Library folder. click "Go" in the menubar, and click "Go to folder..." from the drop-down. In the dialog box, type ".Library" and click "Go". (If you just can't find it, then "Library" will also work.) After you open the folder, locate the "MarbleBlast" folder. Inside it is the log. If you can't find it, make sure you opened the right Library folder.
Second: If you don't know where the MarbleBlast folder is, then that points out another issue. To play a mod, your MarbleBlast Gold mustn't be in the Library. Else, conflict code in the mods will surely mess things up. You must separate each mod's MarbleBlast folder for each mod you use. Note: MBP 1.20 uses a different folder inside the MarbleBlast folder, you can run a mod and MBP without the prior issue.
Third: You have bought the game, right? Have you used MBP before without issue?
If you can't figure something out, post back, and I'll reply ASAP.

This problem is occurring because the mods are incompatible with your Marble Blast's engine version. MBP is the only mod whose scripts were compiled for the OEM version as well (enabling the game to run).
So your only course of action is to download the newer version of Marble Blast Gold. You can either buy the game off MacGameStore or consult the Internet for how to get the game for free. If the former, PM me and I can give you instructions for how to install the mods. It's a little different because the MacGameStore MBG executable is contained in a special wrapper. If the latter, download MBG then use that copy to install your mods.
Afterwards, you might have to clean up the ~/Library/Marbleblast folder as Pro Marbler said, but don't just delete it outright or you will lose your high scores and game settings.
