Dafuq are your parents super rich or something? No dude. The accordion was actually something that my grandpa's grandpa gave him when he was young. Now he is passing it down to me. The Kindle Fire was actually from my grandparents. Them and their "gift cards". I'm not rich or anything like that.

I also got grand piano samples to use in my music program. What music program do you have? I have "Mixcraft 6" wich is similar to "Garage Band" but my 30 days trial when off, do you know one music program for free?

If you're on a Mac and you're looking for a free program, Garageband is a great choice. We use Logic Express, which is really professional, but it's not free. Not sure what other free stuff is out there.

Not sure what other free stuff is out there. You can get Logic Pro from the Mac App Store for a really low $200 now (originally it was something like $800 boxed). I decided to get it recently - and wow you can just do so much more than before. Also, what I will be getting... a shiny new 27-inch iMac!

If you want a music program, try using Musescore. I use it most of the time, it is free and it's for Windows (not sure if it's for Mac though). It has pretty much every feature you would see in music, and has a lot of instruments to choose from, even voice and lyrics. But if you're looking for something to be heard on marble blast, it doesn't save in .wav. I think you'll need a sound converter for that.
EDIT: @phil congrats on the new mac

I'd say FL Studio is cheaper than most DAWs out there. If you consider that some like Ableton are like $600-$800, and some like Cubase at around $400-$500, then FL Studio is a great choice at $200 (or $300 depending on the package you get). But when you say 'free', you probably do mean free.

it doesn't save in .wav. I think you'll need a sound converter for that. google says musescore not only exports in .wav, but in FLAC and more importantly .ogg (the format that marbleblast uses...!) though for marbleblast music i would discourage a direct output from musescore (the soundset is not super good). pretty sure phil used garageband for his MBP tracks.

if it exports in wav/ogg you can then use audacity to export as mp3

I'm not either but an SSD vs a HDD is like day vs night. Ten second boot, immediate application launches, blazing copying files.. nothing better.

I'm not either but an SSD vs a HDD is like day vs night. Ten second boot, immediate application launches, blazing copying files.. nothing better. I thought about getting the Fusion Drive, but for the extra 128 GB of storage you get, it was an extra $300 (in the AU store) which just seemed ridiculous to what SSDs are around normally nowadays ($100-110 maybe?).... so I didn't really have much choice.
