As in, did you back up *ever* before the virus?
Like, I back up once a year where I should do so every 3 months... exactly for such accidents (or when HD dies)

That sucks, Beack. I hope you can somehow recover the level, or at least remake it. I should start backing up my stuff...in three years of having this laptop I think I've only backed up once.

External Hard Drives are usually a good tool; I had an internal HD though but it's used for other things Personally I back up on DVDs, but external HDs should be better. Just a matter of taste.

Well, for simple way ll 11:00 would be a good PT and 8:00 would be a good UT. Simple pack levels are for MBG, and you can pass jumping the part of the half-pipes in Simple way II.

I found an easy (takes 2 seconds) fix to the mb()/ glitch when converting maps. Open up the map in notepad. Go to replace under edit. Then put in what u need to replace. LEAVE THE REPLACE FEILD BLANK! Then, hit replace all and it will delete the prefix. (note i posted this here, 'cause i thought beack had a problem with the prefix glitch.) Thats the fix!

Founded? um, I've been using it for years. We have been using it for years. It's what we always tell people to do when they got the aforementioned problem.

Matan deafeted my purpose . Anyways... Atleast pf makes me a hero. And matan, I still used my brain to think this, becuase i usually searched the forums. To me now, it seems ur the only 1 who knows, because why didn't any1 just say this as the fix when beack asked?

Not many people usually visit the level building section of the forums, or reply to it. I rarely check this board-- it's a coincidence that I even checked it today. Kinda hard to reply when no one really checks... this is why we have the support boards.

I don't know where you've been looking, but I've told people many times to remove prefixes using find and replace.

Trance told me that, but I never found how to find and replace. Greg Hutchinson: Thanks this work (means convert) but now it says: "exception not controlled in the app, click on Exit to close the app or click on continue to use" I click on continue and nothing happens: Details: System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: System can't find the file in System.Diagnostics.Process.StartWithCreateProcess(ProcessStartInfo startInfo) in System.Diagnostics.Process.Start() in MarbleBlastExporter.MainWindow.ExportMap(String OutputDirectoryString, String TexturesString) in MarbleBlastExporter.MainWindow.Compile() in MarbleBlastExporter.MainWindow._Lambda$__3(Object a0, EventArgs a1) in System.Windows.Forms.Control.OnClick(EventArgs e) in System.Windows.Forms.Button.OnClick(EventArgs e) in System.Windows.Forms.Button.OnMouseUp(MouseEventArgs mevent) in System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmMouseUp(Message& m, MouseButtons button, Int32 clicks) in System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) in System.Windows.Forms.ButtonBase.WndProc(Message& m) in System.Windows.Forms.Button.WndProc(Message& m) in System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) in System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) in System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam)

you might be missing some system files then. Try searching those files it needs on the internet. Also, you can probably download them too. I got a few system files that way before. My computer needed those. Especially the system32 files. Those are very important!
