I think the feel of MBP comes across too dark. See what I mean by playing any beginner level, and it almost feels spooky. Now, would you want this: or how it could be, this: and this: or how it could be, this: It's your choice!

Did you change the lighting or the angle of the sun so it was right above you?

The sun's ambiance.

People can turn the shadows off.
Also the marble looks too bright in the bright pics.

Yeah, if we darkened the marble it would probably work.

My old comp didn't support the 'shadows' that the game comes automatically with, so that the sun's amibence didn't make sense. The music makes the game feels pretty dramatic and spooky too, so it all works

I think it's fine how it is. All we need is a spooky background.

Speaking of backgrounds, I think the current skybox is really cool, except the sun looks like a poached egg. I think the "feel" of the game is just right. It's not quite as arcade-ish as MBG, but not as dark as war games.

It's more futureistic then MBG, but not quite as much as MBU. I like the feel of the game as well, it's good as is.

Uhh... is it just me who has the new skybox instead of the old one with the egg sun?

I would assume so... is the new skybox on (some place that doesn't exist anymore and shouldn't worry you but you still don't need to know it)?

It's the one Phil made. He also made a sunset and night one.

Yeah, but I guess I'll have to remake the skies.
