Releasing 1st September, 2007 I got all the files we need, I can easily modify. Umm, I don't have the MAC build yet, so if someone can download the MAC demo and then work with me on it, we can have that as well Same for the Linux, ill grab spy for that... Anyway, post here your suggestions and what you would like to see in the demo. We estimate 10-15 levels in the demo and I'm gonna force Phil to finish the GUI (Main Menu, Level Select Screen, Options and Help/Credits) by then and also build it up. I got the PC version (this is the 7th copy of Marble Blast I have on my comp, WTF!) and soon it will be ready. I got the GUI/CS files required for the demo build so I can finish it by the 1st September 2007. We need: 4 Beginners 4-5 Intermediates 4-5 Advanced 2 Expert We also need at least 1 level per level creator and all levels must be QuArKed versions and with the textures attached. Once that's done, leave the rest for me Reminder, 1st September is our release date for the Demo Build!

I could work on a Mac version if you still need someone.

We need someone who can download the MAC Demo and wait for me and Phil to set up the files correctly. We have levels/GUI in higher priority now and it's most likely the demo will not be built within 2 weeks. However, a functioning demo will be great.

I got the MBG demo already, I downloded it before I had MBP on this computer.

I seriously don't reckon we need 'Let's Roll'. And HMC would be a waste, 'cause people can play GMC as it is mostly the same. I reckon having Frictional Battlecube as well, so people can get a taste of all the frictions (Learn the Friction doesn't give you enough of a feel for the frictions and Platform Mayhem includes bouncy). We will keep Random as a surprise.

We need Let's Roll as it's always the welcoming level in any MB game About the HMC replaced by FBattlecube, fine by me.

Hmm, more thoughts: Don't have Stamina for Expert, it's a brilliant level and we should save it for the actualtrelease. I'd say MFA should take it's place. And also, instead of Avoiding Hazards in Intermediate, put in Astroflight.

1.) Stamina should be kept, it's OK to have one brilliant level in the demo, I think. Besides, MA:MBP is already in, so no need for MFA. 2.) You're right about HMC, but FBattlecube shouldn't be included, since Battlecube is already in. We shouldn't have more than one Battlecube level. Maybe RUC or Platformer? 3.) Astroflight instead of Avoiding Hazards is OK by me. 4.) Agreed with Matan about Let's Roll.

1) But Astroflight is by Pascal, he's not staff We also wanna keep some of Jase's levels to the final, not give them all. For the intermediate section u should instead offer say... Floor Climb / Bumpy Highway / Spin Practice 2) How about Lightning Ice instead of HMC? Strategy Climb? Quaked Path? 3) Stamina should be replaced by Trigonometry, we can definitely use some variety of levels. Besides, in the demo there're no tabs (like the MBG demo which we base of) so that I have to write the level numbers and placements and lots of other stuff. If we have Beginner level 1 and expert level 1 it wont be that nice 4) Thanks for agreeing with me.

I'm happy with that... for now I was thinking of a level that needs speed and agility in order to be completed, so that players can compete for fastest time. How about Downhill Racing or Bump Your Head? Not sure.. just a suggestion...

Don't use bump your head cuz that isn't MBP exclusive.

We should wait out this MBP anonymous and release the demo with levels that he releases.

IF he releases anymore. I'm not telling ppl but there's stuff going on... we shouldn't really see anymore levels from him imo.
Continue discussion nonetheless, because otherwise if the demo aint going to be released coz of u guys holding it up he WILL resume it and we DID promise a demo.

I seriously think we shouldn't release Double Looploop because Mr. MBP Anonymous has already released that (even though Matan showed me the email and pointed out the guy forgot to include the textures - LOL!!!) and people will want new levels. I reckon in the levels we need to include uses of Ice, Rug/Carpet, Water and Bouncy. I don't mind about Sand, Grass and Tarmac. Platform Mayhem uses Bouncy, a fair few use Ice but I don't think any use Water or Rug/Carpet. I reckon substituting Par Pit with RUC (uses water). But then we are stuck with Rug/Carpet, and that is a very cool friction (keep Random a surprise as I previously suggested). Or, in place of Double Looploop, have Frictional Climb. Wait, that uses Random. Damn... And regarding D/H Racing, don't put that in the demo. It's awesome and should be kept for the actual relese. PHEW! That's my opinion.
