MBP Stats 2 + YouTube Reminder

I've got a few things to announce: Firstly, head to my YouTube (in my sig) to find a new dubstep I made along with a remix of PQ's trailer's background song I made. Those are both recent projects. Check 'em out if you haven't yet.



On to the main event:

Whoo! I was on FIRE today in MBP! I beat, like, 10-15 new levels! Here are now my current MBP Stats - MBP Stats 2:

Beginner - 25/25
Intermediate - 35/35
Advanced - 30/35 (Where I made my most progress!):

All that's left is:

Platform Race
Platform Race 2
Despair
Morph
Rolling to Eternity

Thief: I had found a pretty decent pathway on this one! I may share it in a video sometime! It was enough to get me PT, but if done a bit faster with some tweaks you can achieve UT. After the third checkpoint (before the SJs), it's pretty much the WR path, but before that part is a different path...

Expert - 14/25:

Two new levels beaten: MFA and Trapdoor Mania.

Trigonometry: The WR pathway isn't as hard as it might seem... The only tricky bit IMO is the beginning wall-hit/edge-hit (edge-hit preferrably). The key here is the SJ. In the level, I use it multiple times: At the lower-most gem in the chamber, at the gem on the tower next to the SJ, at the gem on the tightrope, and finally to get across the gap to the other side of the level. I'm still perfecting the pathway (finding the best way to use the SJ), but otherwise this level is pretty easy.

Uphill Racing: It always passes the Par Time directly before I hit the last platform, every time.

I don't expect to beat Platform Mayhem or Nukesweeper Revisited any time soon...

As you can see I'm almost done with the game! Next update will be on my records (PT, UT, etc.). Starting with my Intermediate Records (as I posted beginner more than a month ago).

Great progress! As of now, I can't play MB for at least a couple of months (maybe even a year) so by time I'll be playing again I'd probably suck . Anyways what rank are you in the LBs?

Pretty high, actually. As in, 150+... You see, I've got MBP installed on two comps: One with internet and one with no internet. The one with internet has access to LBs, which I rarely get on anymore, and my other comp (where all the progress happens ^^), which has no internet... Plus the comp with no internet is WAY better because it doesn't lag on any level except TTOTTS, the graphics and resolution is nice, plus my monitor is huge! Thus, it allows better gameplay.

Too bad, if you have beaten all of those levels online you'd get a couple of ranks up.

Well if I can get internet on that comp then things would be a lot better... If that happened, would all my stats from there be transferred to LBs?

I don't think it will, you'll have to do everything online if you it want in the LBs. That's why I'm always online when I play MBP.

Darn... Oh well. And I've got an update about my stats! (Not that anyone cares )

Advanced: 34/35.

Guess the only advanced level left: Morph.

Expert was almost nice: Yesterday at like 1AM I was playing BCFinale. Guess what? I was SO close to winning it! I only had two faces left, TWO: the tarmac and the finish. I fell down to the bottom face at the tarmac and the clock was ticking at 13 and a half minutes. Unfortunately, I didn't make it . But I was SO CLOSE!

I've never seriously tried BCFinale because it lags so much in that level. Keep trying on the BCFinale run, I know you'll get there.

The lovely ttotts you don't beat that? Nice stats! The Platform Race is easy but need to keep a jump boost for last floor. Then for Platform Race 2, Matan sets 10s each stop. The key is just dont panic and do your best, also keep trying! The hardest part for me on PR and PR2 is the 5th and 4th. So just keep trying!

And HOW THE HECK DO YOU BEAT THIEF ?

Thief is actually easy it just takes patience.

First beat the level (regardless of par time) then lower your time until you beat the par time

For Thief I found a pathway that's frankly easier than the full path itself. Plus it's faster. I said I might make a vid of it sometime... Maybe I will. TTOTTS is hard, period. PR and PR2 were hard until I got the hang of them, then they were easy. And look how close the UT and PT are on those levels! Boy that should be easy... I was .30 seconds off the UT on PR2, thus getting me PT. All that's left now is Morph.
