Well I keep having problems with the refelctive marble.
I added the extra layer with the enviro map, and give opacity to the skin and only shows the MBF circle.
What Can I do?
and another question, How I can do an enviro_map using photoshop, like merge the 6 skybox images and do the enviro_map.

Aren't reflective marbles impossible in marble blast gold?

He means the environment map that makes the marble look like its reflective but its not, hence the quotes around reflective.

isnt there some sort of code you could attach to marble.cs saying emap = true; to make it work? Just wondering.

bump: go to marble/client/ and open prefs.cs. go to this line: and change that 0 to a 1. idk why it's off by default, but hopefully that will work. And obviously you need to have an enviro_map.jpg in your skies folder (for each individual sky if you have multiple). Here's what the marble looks like without it: Here's what the marble looks like with it: Hope this helped!

Thanks for the help, but remember to check dates before posting. This thread was made over 2 years ago, and it isn't really worth bumping. (Just check dates )

@beack make sure that in marble.cs in the marbledatablock, the emap is set to true.

I have been wanting to mention that pref that you referenced for a while now...but I kind of forgot. Thanks for bringing that up =)

set to true, but still doesn't work, small question.... there is a difference between Real Arcade version or GG version?, because I heard GG version does support enviro_map reflection and Real Arcade doesn't.
also there is a difference if my enviro_map is called "7" and not enviro_map?

Funny, i have the RealArcade version and the enviro mapping works just fine. and it shouldn't matter what the enviromap is called, as long as your yourskynamehere.dml file specifies it (in the last line of the file).
