After reading the Homestar Runner Fanstuff Wiki, I found their time capsule. This is an idea that I'm bringing to these forums.

If you want to participate, please post what you would like to go into the "capsule". This can be what projects you're a part of (eg. MBP or MBA), predictions for the future, or you're current status. Within reason, it can be anything you want (what an oxymoron). In 2 weeks, which is November 13, this post will be deleted and kept in a hidden place. This capsule will be opened in 1 year, on November 13, 2008.

So hurry up, you only have 2 weeks!

Hey people of the future!

It's hopefully 1 year ahead of us now, and a lot has probably changed. I'm a regular user, but the 3rd highest poster. Of all the non-staff members, I am the highest. There is another member, Pablo, that's slowly gaining. for a couple of weeks, there's been the council membership competition, which Pablo, Lonestar, and Oakster won. Whoops, need to get back to me.

I'm part of Marble Blast Advance right now. The Red Sox just won the World Series. CPM's a little idle, but I'm still part of it. There are currently 223 members on the forums, the newest being silverblade. The Marble Blast Wiki still exists, but it is really inactive.

Predictions for 1 year in the future (not all positive, but predictions nonetheless):

• MBP will finnaly be released
  
• I will be a moderator, if not higher (seems unlikely now)
  
• Technostick, ShadowMarble, and Pablo will be inactive.
  
• The Wiki will burst with popularity
  
• CLAV 20 will be out
  
• "fgtbwb" will be a forum-wide slang term.
  
• I will still love Homestar Runner
  
• The forums will get a whole new design permanently
  
• My mother will get a laptop
  
• The forums will get hit with a mojor spammer attack, one that can get at hundreds of IP's and we can't block it.
  
• There will be 500 members.
  
• Andrew Sears wll be a little more mature, with less rapings
  
• AS will finally beat me at a smarts contest

Current stuff:

Yeah, life is pretty good right now. I'm currently the Vice-President of the Council and I am a member of MBP staff, as a level builder. I have 1,551 posts at the time of posting. Currently in MBP, we are close to finishing the replicating and finishing up some new coding and getting ready for the testing stages. I currently look forward to the mod called MBA, though I think it will be inferior to MBP in quality (no offense).

I have over 70-80 custom levels made at this time, and am about to start another one, "Talent Show". I have not won any LotM awards yet, but I hope to at some point.

I have many friends on MSN, namely Matan, moshe, LS, PF, HW, Phil, and many others. Although some have been subjected to my bad side here lately, but I am working on changing that. I am also waiting eagerly for Pablo to get it as well.

In my personal life, I got my results of the SAT, and am proud to say that i did very well on them. I got a 650 on the Critical Reading, a 640 on the Math, and a 670 on the Writing sections. I am very pleased with these scores. This was my second time taking it, and I did MUCH better this time than last time. Also, I have applied to the college I want, and I hope to receive a reply soon. With college stuff and college planning and loads of homework in school, I have been stressed and tired a lot lately, which may explain my (fairly) recent behavior.

Also, my fav football team, the Patriots, are 8-0 and are THE BEST TEAM IN FOOTBALL EVER!!


Predictions:
- MBP will be released by late 2007 or early 2008. It will be a resounding success among the community.
- MBA will be released in summer of 2008, but will be less-liked than MBP.
- I will win at least one LotM award, probably in 2008.
- I will be in college, therefore less active than at the time of this post and making hardly any levels.
- I will have over 3,000 posts.
- Matan will still be the admin, but I will have been promoted to President. (Technostick will have left the community to pursue his piano career).
- I will have changed how I handle conflicts (no more flames and/or insults to others).
- I will have dropped the "Captain Obvious" and the raping routines that I currently use.
- Pablo will have FINALLY gotten MSN
- The Red Sox will reach the World Series again, and win again.
- The New England Patriots will win Super Bowl XLII!

And that's all.

For me, I am the director and founder of MBA, and I'm very proud of it. I think MBP is going to be really fun, as well as future MB versions to come. I love this forum, and wish to stay here! And Andrew, and we will put all our effort into it, so, let's not jump into conclustions, and be quiet!

Well, quite frankly I suck at writing bios of myself, but I'll see what I can come up with. I'm Lonestar. I'm a member here on the forums, currently active and hopefully I will continue to be active. I'm the only moderator, although due to winning a contest I became a Council Member for a month so I'm not technically the moderator, but the contest ends in about... whoa just a day. That went fast. I guess I'll get my color back, so hooray-a for me. I'm 14 years old, male, and overall extremely unhappy with life at the moment but hopefully I'll get over it. Because this message will be sent to me in one year's time, I guess we'll see how much me feelings toward the subject have changed. Well, it looks like I've gone ahead and forgotten whatever else I could have wanted to tell you in my bio, so let's go ahead to predictions. Sure I got predictions, for both the forums and my life, and I'm sure at least some will come true.

Forums
I predict 1) I will be where I am now, I might be a replacement Council Member if someone left or quit, being moderator I think I'm like runner-up or something for that position. Really I'm happy with where I am now, mod powers are all I really need.

2) MBP will triumph above all others who dare to oppose it and all will fail to even come close to scratching the skin of it's gleaming platinum surface.

3) Matan will keep ruling above all

4) there will be a lot more posts in my blog

5) despite a jump in rank (possible), I will probably become less active with MarbleBlast but still be here on the forums; I can leave the game but not you guys.

Personal Life
1) I'll have my comics updated on a more regular basis (school and other stuff is crazy right now, sorry to my sole dedicated fan for the lack of anything new)

2) I'll have a much more popular DeviantART (just got some advertising off of some people I know here in real life, so I'm hoping for some fame )

3) I'll eventually become somewhat of an internet celebrity, despite the fact that I'm not really power-hungry I like the idea of being famous, but only over the internet. I would hate to be really famous, that would suck.

4) I want nothing more than to be an author.

5) I will be a kindof small celebrity on YouTube, to all Nerdfigters of Brotherhood 2.0 everywhere.

6) Girls of some variety or another. I know some and they know me, so actually I'm doing very well on the subject. (I can identify someone who I can be pretty much entirely sure has a crush on me... future Lonestar, you know who I'm talking about. )

My current views on life: everything sucks. I'm rather depressed, for personal reasons that are kinda complex, MSN me if you really want to know. I hate the French. I guess the forums and you guys are still awesome, although I must admit I'm only here anymore just for you, I haven't played MBG for an undeterminable amount of time and I think it's been a week since I opened MBP, probably more since I played it for fun. Let's see how my views on MarbleBlast as a game have changed in the future, I'd be interested in that. All in all, this time capsule thing is a great idea and I look forward to reading it come Halloween 2008. Cyas then, future Lonestar!

Basically I'm the admins of these forums and Second in Command in the MBP project and tester for MBA, I'm a huge fan of Marble Blast. I love making vids and knowing people who love marble blast.

I am currently finishing the first year at university which is hard and annoying and am looking towards a visit to Israel. There isn't much to talk about myself so yea, I'm the boring guy

Predictions

- The forums passing the 300 members
- Andrew Sears will shut the fuck up when arguments are arising.
- Homsar Walker will accept the fact that all time he's power hungry he won't get promoted
- More quizzes will happen with the same winning prize.
- MBA and MBP will stop arguing.
- I will get a xbox360 and be able to execute my secret plans
- Will quit the forums and Marble Blast in order to concentrate on other things.

Yeah, this is Perishingflames. I am council member, not more or less and am in MBP and MBA. I am tester for both, and I make the macintosh versions for MBP. I have only few custom levels at this point, about 30. The majority of them stink to be honest. My latest custom level was also my first consructed one (with constructor) and it turned out pretty well. I am in close contact with Andrew Sears, Matan, and Cyberfox on msn, although I will also chat with Homsar, Lonestar, Ray, Oakster, Moshe, Xelna, Phil, and others when I get the chance.

Predictions

-By a year, I will be far less active than I am now.
-I will have over or about 3,000 posts
-Many users that are currently active will not be seen on the forum for a while, maybe quit
-The forums will become more and more popular and have over 400 members.
-Matan will take a looong leave from marbleblast/the forum and leave someone else in charge
-MBP will be a huge success and will have over 250 downloads
-MBA will be finishing up, if not released. When its released, it will be less of a success
-A new member will come and become in close contact with Matan, Andrew, and I
-I will not win any Lotm's
-Pablo will win far more to come as will Oakster

I joined the forums at the end of February 2007. I've accomplished a lot since then, including two LotM wins, a Level Competition win, and winning a month as a council member.

My levels have come a long way since my first, Junky House. After USS Nimitz and Island Commando Raid dismally failed at LotM, I realised I should use my great QuArK skills towards creating more traditional MBG levels. I've created some awesome levels lately, with more to come.

In a year...
-I will be a council member, perhaps even VP
-MBP will be released and most people will love it, except Technostick who will still hate things about it
-I will create more levels for myself, as well as levels for MBA
-I'll probably stay about as active as I am now, maybe a little more active once marching band ends
-A few more of my school friends will join the forums
-Matan will not be quite as active as he is now, but he will not leave or anything
-I will FINALLY get MSN
-There will be less disputes and flaming problems

That's it, I guess my predictions show a good future for this forum (or is it these forums?).

I'm not going to make any predictions. I'm too indecisive (let's see if that changes...).

If my interest in MarbleBlast dwains away then I hope to be a mysterious old user with a few levels. Just like some old people on the GG forums are right now. I just hope that people follow in my shoes, being much better than when they first started, and seeming quite active, yet not a one person seems to notice them (me). Interesting, eh? My PPD is currently 1.269, my post count being 311. And to leave it all off, a (not so) cryptic message that has a (very well) hidden meaning I probably won't remember a year from now:

Hello, people of the future! I am called Unknown. It is Saturday, November 3rd, 2007. Right now I am a not-so-great member, that makes levels and videos, and is a Tester for a Marble Blast Mod called Marble Blast Advance. I hope in the future when this is hopefully found that will change, I will be a greater member than I am now.

I am a newer member, but not very. My post count at the time of this message is 242. Hopefully in the future I will have a colored name (very likely), maybe even be a Mod.

For the real world right now... the NBA Season has just started. The Boston Red Sox have just won the 2007 World Series. Halloween has just passed, and Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming up!

Wow, pretty amazing... a few predictions have come true already! 8 days until burying.

At the moment, I am "President of the Council", in effect second in command of the forums after Matan, in which position I aim for stability. The forums are now reasonably stable, having settled down a few months ago from the numerous dramas of MBP, in which I made a total mess by long discussions of pointless arguments. (ask Matan, or better yet Robot Marble) To my contentment MBP is now working smoothly towards completion not far away, much more so than from what I have heard of MBA, for which my expectations have remained lower.

My current level project, the Art of Moving Platforms, is now in its third pack of levels, to be released before the end of this year.


Predictions...

In one year,

:: AoMP will be finished with 5 packs in total (probable);
:: I will have become an infrequent visitor (possible);
:: Pablo will have committed some serious but unintended forum offense and been banned (no offense...);
:: MarbleBlast will no longer interest me as a game (doubtful);
:: I will have created a new game (long shot...);
:: I will lead members here to forums about said new game (an even longer shot!);

and finally...

:: My grandma will have become a MarbleBlast addict (not going to happen).

In a year, many people who have under 200 posts (now) will leave. I´m sure of that. Not sure about me... I get crying when I think the future of these forums. Maybe not! Maybe Matan dosn´t post leaving post in a year or even in 2! I hope you guys stay here as long as I! (If don´t leave in 6 months.) Actually, year isn´t very long time and I think this timecapsule will be opened by Hosmar and all writers are still active. To the future me: Have you beated any world records? Are you still the best of your class in maths? (I think so...)
