After having to learn a fair bit about shaderscript to get the final result, I managed to create random shade tiling like the system used in Marble Blast Online and Marble Blast Ultra. I still have to find the right gradient for the variance in shades, but the hard part is done! Here's the effect from up high And close up Also, after spending a fair bit of time just knocking people around with Blast, I decided to go ahead and make a game mode for it So, after you hit play, you can click on the "Under Construction" button to go to the current work in progress that is King of the Hill (I threw the map together in an hour, so take its layout with a grain of salt. I just needed something with a visible center in which to put the "hill") PICTUREZ

This is absolutely amazing blueteak! It really reminds me of MBU/MBO.

Thanks! I'm glad you like it New: Added a FPS counter beside the active powerup GUI element. Note that the frame rate is capped by your screens refresh rate (so 60fps for most people) Also... opinions on: Sun-Shafts!

GREAT!
Just a thing: can you at least try to make stormy conditions, like before a thunderstorm?

Just a thing: can you at least try to make stormy conditions, like before a thunderstorm? I'm using standard 6 face skyboxes, if you have one in mind, I could put it in and see how it looks! (needs 6 separate pictures that form a skybox). I don't have a stormy skybox atm, so I can't really test one :/ Edit: Updated reflective version of Earth Skin - Now higher detail and normal mapped reflections

If you can roll this project more further you might aswell create game that you can actually officially releaase. So far it looks like this:

That is so awesome. Are you going to release these stuff to the community? I'm not sure what you mean. I can't really give you the marble textures because they are not in a MBG readable format, and the Torque engine can't do what I'm doing with the shaders and effects. I'm going to continue updating this with stuff all the time, but unless you know unity pretty well, "releasing" it wouldn't help much . If there is something specifiy you want I can probably give you either texture data for marbles or point you in the right direction with shaders/scripts. @rds.empire - Maybe

Small minor correction: replace torque with "Marble Blast" Im asking a legit question, not trying to be smart, can torque do the reflective marble?

;_; It used the Torque Shader Engine IIRC (which was Torque Game Engine Advanced) hence the name...
