I'm too lazy to update my link, so I keep having to click through to the forums on the Under Construction page.
I would like to save my mouse clicking for more important things, like opening up MBP 1.50... Fix Plz.

Exactly as how I do it! However, I feel that this is becoming a spamfest. Someone should fix.

Woops, sorry about that guys, my weekend took an unexpected turn towards lots of work. Hey, Teasers! We all love teasers, and you all know me as being one of the biggest teases of all time (because Fubar has been in development for 6 full years as of October 27th). So, here are some lovely website teasers showing off a more refined Profile: NOTE: The User Profile Page is still under heavy development, so this may not be the final look / layout of the Profile page. When a user first logs into the site, they will be redirected to this - their user profile page. Ideally, users will be able to search for one another based on their username or through the leaderboards interface to see that user's specific statistics. Seen in the screenshot above is a real, working Profile page for the website administrator. All of the information you see above was retrieved from the leaderboards database, and the ranks are carefully calculated accordingly. Users are also able to click those left / right arrows to toggle their rank display for either Overall, Multiplayer, MBG, or MBF. As you scroll down the page, you'll see a more specific outline of various statistics for each of the Marble Blast mods. Currently, the website supports MBG, MBP, MBF, and PQ (lol). The back-end does allow us to easily add additional support for any other mods that wish to provide online statistic tracking. You may also notice the arrows to the right of each section title. You can click on these to show/hide various sections of the profile statistics to make it easier to navigate to your field of interest. That's it for this week. Maybe next weekend we'll show more exciting new things. ~Aayrl

Blue, yellow, red gems collected? Is that mean that you also have PQ? I would like to introduce you to a new concept in MBP 1.50. It's called Multiplayer. It has red, yellow, and blue gems that you have to collect to beat the opponent.

Can multiplayer levels on Marble Blast Platinum 1.50 be modified?

|
|
Post by ProMarbler on Nov 5, 2013 0:55:06 GMT
They can be modified, as .mis files are not encrypted, and nothing's stopping you from opening it up in a text editor and changing a few things. But keep in mind there are certainly anti-hacks that will render the level unplayable in at least an online environment. So one would need to save it as a custom level, for example, for it to be played.

The new teasers look great! I'm really looking forward to my high (read: personal best but still sucky) scores being shown off on the website. Keep up the good work Matan and co!
I wonder if they'll release the new website, PQ, and MBP 1.50 all on the same day. *keeps dreaming*

Well if it happens, I may have to contact the staff about the modification problem and make them fix it so customized levels can be used even if they are provided with the game.

You can modify them for personal use, like Pro Marbler and Trace said, but they won't work in multiplayer. If you take the .mis file and put it in one of your custom levels folders and modify it it'll work fine, as long as you don't modify the file in the leaderboards levels folders.

Hai guys, you do know this isn't the correct topic to discuss this stuff, right?
Brandondorf9999, editing mission files is not allowed in the leaderboards/multiplayer area. There is a custom directory for multiplayer where you can play your own levels or modified mission files of the official levels, but you cannot replace the originals with your own modified data.
And back on topic: #hype
