It's an interesting texture for sure. I dislike it a little because it's "bland" but that's pretty much stovetops (this one reminds me of electric stovetops). That said, I love the golden trim and the above posted spiretly textures. They look great to the eye with the soft colors. Yeah I can understand that on account that I made it a little quicker than my other tiles, haha. But I'm glad there can be some kind of concept applied to it. And I'm happy you like the imperial and spritely tiles! If there's anything I learned from drawing and my graphics classes in college, it's that you never want to pick the most vivid hues on the color spectrum.

Hey everyone, I got a quick little custom bounce floor tile for you all. It was somewhat of a failed attempt, but it was fashioned to look like lava, and it is also seamless around the edges. (Download Link)

Really like the customized tiles and trim. Those are really great
not so much the others. Bit too garish for me.

looks more like melting chocolate Hence the failed attempt part, haha. And there really isn't much of a difference other than its interface. It is a little faster with commands though, and the anti-aliasing looks a lot smoother with type and shapes.

wow that looks pretty neat patrick, keep up the good work man Will do, Jeff! Marbleduck, could you maybe elaborate why you didn't like the other graphics? It might help me in the future. As I said, this is just personal opinion, but here's some more specifics the more subtle tiles are great. The design remains visible without being excessively contrasted. The variegation in the shade of the tiles is well done. However, it is my opinion that the highlight on the black trim is too sharp to fit well with the theme. The pads are not as good. The font is nice, but it is not cohesive with its backdrop. Additionally, the edges of the start and finish pad are not apposite to the marble-like center. The black fibers on the white are too accentuated, and the black needs some sort of overlay to make it less solid. A subtle highlight would do wonders for the black, as would a marble overlay on the white in addition to a reduction if not a complete removal of the fibers. Moving on to the “stylish wall textures”: the circle design base is excellent, but I feel that the star design is far too repetitive and stressed to be used as a highly repeated wall texture. The “spritely tileset” has EXCELLENT overlays, but the four circles are, again, too repetitive. The “imperial” whatever it is needs an improved (possibly embossed) stroke around the edges to make the central design fit with the edge, and the highlight needs to be reduced on the trim. The trim also needs an overlay of some sort. The stovetop texture is uh... trippy, I guess. I wouldn’t want to use it in any of my levels. Not even going to talk about the ferric poo texture. Okay, anyway, I know some of this was a little bit nasty, for which I apologize, but I tried to make a fairly subjective review, as subjective as one can get when it comes to aesthetics. I value minimalism over all, so my viewpoint will be swayed a little that way, for your info. I also forsee that as you grow in your abilities as an artist, your propensity towards the tawdry will decrease in its prodigality (if those excellent tiles are anything to go by). When you use overlays, they are used well, but I feel that the repetitive and accentuated designs detract from how good your textures could be. Also, branch out on those colors, man. You don’t need to make everything poo colored (I have a bit of a vendetta with saturated browns) And now, to conclude my conclusion, I’ll wish you an excellent day, and I look forward to seeing your progression. My my, I do sound a little hubristic. Bear in mind, no arrogance is intended. My concluding conclusion’s conclusion needs work, and I feel like I ought to conclude it but... woot I missed the new one, for me looks more like melting chocolate, there is any difference between Photoshop CS6 and CS5 ? no basically unless you want some half-ass 3D tools

Hey all, my apologies for not being too active here as of late. I've got a new, decent tileset for you all though! Feel free to give them a try! An artistic tileset that comes in four colors, both dark and light (Red, Yellow, Green, & Purple). A ceramic styled edge is also included. - (Download Link)

My apologies for the the double post, but I've got a special treat today. I've created a small assortment of custom tiles for MarbleBlast Gold. They might be just the thing to add a little more flair to custom MBG levels. (Download Link)

Hey all! Sorry for the inactivity, but I've got a nice little tileset for you all. It was sort of inspired by the design from a 3DS game that I've been obsessing with as of late. Small, alpine styled tileset (3 colors) - (Download Link)

Looks good. I think it would be even better if the dots (of several more colors) were "randomly" strewn about.

Thanks! I suppose it could work, but I try to have some kind of uniformity when it comes to tiles. You could mix and match the 3 tiles in one level if you wanted though.

Hey all, I got another tileset done after such a long time. The "sweet" color scheme of this 6-piece set + trim was inspired somewhat by PQ. Sweet Marble Tileset (6 colors + trim) - (Download Link)
