At long last. Through blood and laziness MBA is finally out and it will kick ass! Get ready to push your skills to the max. MBA will be challenging levels for the advanced players and ofc there will be a few levels for the more novice. Tho unfortunately if you're novice MBA is gonna be a bitch to get by. There will be instructions for both Mac and Windows, so the Mac users arent forgotten ^^ MarbleBlast Advanced.zipAlternate Download

I plan to defeat the game Saturday night. EDIT: Foxxy, you left the ignitionGui files in the ~/marble/client/ui rootfolder. You may want to remove these so that users with ignition and non-ignition versions can properly install MBA EDIT2: I've tried the installation process four time now. I've removed both of your ignition files and i've copied over the correct files required to run the program, I had a back up of files I needed to convert over from my MBP installations (which worked fine). On all four attempts, the files would copy over, and MBA would open up in the task manager as a process (marbleblast.exe), but then the system would lock up. My guess would be one of the scripts or .dso files is corrupt or it's not converting properly for me. I'm using Windows XP SP 3 32-BIT. I'm curious to know what you and Matan are using in order to run the program, or if I'm going through the installation process incorrectly. It's probably also a good idea to note that I'm using a non-ignition version of MBG to install MBA. ~Aayrl

MBP WRR AND MBA!!?? Holy shit this is awesome. Lol this week is just amazing. Btw, first one to comment! Didn't bother to play all levels before commenting because it's just awesome. Played all Beginnner levels and first few intermediate's. Overall it's great, some epic textures and levels. Loved the speedometer. Beginner: Great levels but I've noticed one thing. I think there are like 2-3 maze levels that only involves gems (or cells here). It's not a big problem but kinda boring for the same theme. Apparently the intermediate levels are way harder and longer than the beginner levels, but I'll get through them. I may as well play the advanced levels and I'll see if it's that hard. Finally, well done to all the MBA staffs, you all did an amazing job! EDIT: Forgot to mention something. I see a few things that you guys kept the MBG stuff. (Like the level selection screen and finish menu) I guess MBA will be even more awesome if those became more original.

MBA breaks always down if I want to play a level I think you have a mac, right? I put a mail to contact me in the mac tutorial to install. If you have MSN it's great i'll be able to help you faster. I almost finished MBA! The first level i seriously have problem to finish is... Castle Conquers. I passed 20 minutes on it.

You have to get your exe from MBG. Copy it into the MBA main folder.

I got through all beginner levels except for the last one pretty easily. The last one I haven't done yet (will do tomorrow).
EDIT: Decided to do the last one.

I never thought another mod after Platinum would be released. Yet again, you have proved me wrong.
And why not make an installer? That would make it so much simpler.

OK, just downloaded, played some levels and now i have to make a comment! When i opened it i saw the original presentation of mbg except an edit to mbg logo (I think you must change them!), The main menu, loading, help, numbers, ect gui was really nice (But i think you still need to make new guis instead the remaining mbg ones!). The sounds (The modified ones) was great, as like the music. The textures and the .dts shapes are really nice and fitting with mba theme, BTW you need to clean up a bit the shapes folder and the other useless things (And the un-codded ones). Levels are really nice, but much of them have got interiors with much small-bugs that can be improved (Most of them are texture bugs.) and some have got invisible bugged things, also the most descriptions of levels suck (no offence!) and i think they must be changed. The game has some things that must be changed, like the "Info", it must have new information about the game. Also mba needs an icon! Anyways nice new feutures-futures (i suck spelling that word!), my favourite is the speedometer! Also i beat all the beginner levels and 7 intermediate! Overall of game! 7/10 (It would be nice if you make a patch with an overall new gui and fixed levels!) ~Kostas

I finished the game The last level was OMFG. Long and pretty hard! Kostas 7/10? Hm... You played some levels? It's the most hard work i never saw. I understand why they are only 45 levels. i would put 11/10.

OK, I've played through beginner, most of intermediate, and struggling on advanced. Here's my comments, good and bad. Good: - The parts of the GUI that are changed look amazing (though a bit hard to read) - The levels look amazing and play great. Though there's some interior errors, the textures are awesome and original. - Levels are fun and challenging. - Great skies and scenery (the distant round tower things are my favorite) - The new sounds, shapes, etc are excellent. The concept of PowerCells instead of gems is quite creative imo. - The music is soothing and fits the game well. Bad: - A noticeable lack of checkpoints makes the harder and longer levels frustrating - Many of the levels revolve around the same theme (ascending towers for example) and are unoriginal - The speedometer is cool, but there's no real point to having it - Init.cs doesn't work for me, thus many frictions don't work correctly Overall comments: MBA has a feel unlike any other Marble Blast mod out there. I can't explain the feeling in words, but it is quite different from MBG and MBP. The mod certainly lives up to its name with all the challenging levels. MBA is awesome the way it was released, but the potential for even more greatness is there. If it had been fully completed (with checkpoints, coins, the shop, launch triggers, etc), I believe it would have surpassed MBP in greatness. All the MBA staff must be commended on a wonderful job. Overall score: 9/10

From when I played...
I loved the feel, was very original. However, as you get through the game the levels get worse and worse. As mentioned above, I counted over 10 'floating 2x2 platform steps' challenges. Some levels stand out, but I reckon a good 75%+ of the levels were quite terrible and were so incredbly bland, boring, repetitive and unoriginal that I lost motivation to play them after less than 3 runthroughs. It's harsh, but I'd probably give this mod a 5-6/10. The idea was there, but the levels weren't whatsoever.
