That's one of my favorite paths now. If you can pull that off I'll believe you're doing TAS.

Hmmm.... *thinking*
Any key movements or button for Jumpx3? Might be possible with a very small change in the pattern or in the button pressing... Otherwise I really doubt 2.27 is possible with this path... Cause Asuul714 and iMac got 2.38 and it took forever... and now you get 2.27 out of nowhere with same path?
Explanation please.
Reminds me of Valentinoian claiming he had 5.56 on Platform Training when the best time was 5.77.

As i seen, Xuan did a camera rotation under the first ramp, it makes the marble doing the next jump faster, but i tried this tweak and took TT at 2.48 (not any good). Where did you got that fast movement between the ramp and TT?

Xelna Im thinking too! alex something under the ramp must have given me more speed, but I don`t know what! (maybe a glitch in the game??)

That means you kinda know what's the trick if there's one... But yet you do not say anything on the Forums? Mehhh....

Or maybe it's just that pattern he does on the first part before going under the ramp. Idk.

It's true that I didn't know what trick I did on Slip 'n Slide at first, but it only took me the 2nd success to realize what happened, and I expect Mosquashi to be in a similar situation. So if you've gotten it twice, you've got to have SOME idea. It's obviously not an edgehit off the ramp...

mmk, sorry for the second post in like five minutes but.. I've observed that aside from other people's runs on JJJ. He gains a little more "speed" after coming out from the ramp. I'm not sure how it's possible. (Not accusing of cheating, though.) But other people's vids didn't have that type of situation. But I'm still not sure if that's the case...

Well for everyone's info, I've done massive check comparison from what I could based on his YT video vs my own 2.390. What I did was pause his videos at different points (YouTube runs at 30fps, so I don't get to do every single point), and matched the times listed against my own. Since I had a frame-by-frame recording @ 64fps, I could check his clock vs mine and thus see the different marble positions at the same time, and I noted his speed gain occurred every time he hit the grass.
His start was 0.02-0.03 slower than I had, yet he matched me exactly after he hit the grass (so by the 2nd grass hit, we were equal)! After the 2nd grass hit, he was ahead of me, and then the third time which made it to the TT 0.07 faster than I had. I believe he hacked his init.cs to give higher friction on grass, which is the only plausible way.
If he wants to prove otherwise, I need his .rec so I can FRAPS it myself and do a full frame by frame comparison and see that it's not only when he touches the grass that he gains speed, but instead gains it equally throughout the entire start. If he cannot submit his .rec, then this is, as far as I'm concerned, a cheated time.

Good analysis! I tried the same thing, except that I didn't bother to compare it with another video (I used the fact that the video was 30 fps), and I concluded that he didn't hack the timer so it goes faster (is that even possible?) (if he did, any difference is pointless). Of course, that still left open the possibility of hacking the friction levels or other coefficients, which you figured out nicely.

Nice detective work, Matan. Congratulations Mosquashi, you just made me lose all the respect I had for you. Unless you can prove Matan wrong, neither I nor anyone else is going to believe any of the times you get. No one likes a cheater. It was an honest mistake and I completely take back everything that was said in this post.
