But I'd be a lot better if I'd been using a faster iDevice, because this game lags terribly on my first-gen iPod touch. But I don't really think I'll be pursuing this game on my next device (I might not even get another one for a year even), because I've been EXTREMELY frustrated with the way Tapulous has been handling their business. They have this image that they care so much about their users and give away tons of free stuff, but from my experience with their customer support, they could care less. Every time it's just like, "Oh, you have a problem? Here's 100 free credits." and then they're done with you. The gameplay AND the interface runs like crap on older devices, and they're screwing people who buy their original app: they removed the downloadable songs for it, but it still costs $2! People are complaining but they won't EVER comment on it. And now, Disney just bought out Tapulous, so it will probably just become another pet project of it and will lose it's motivation to do well anymore. It's pretty disappointing because I actually gave money to Tapulous and was one of the early adopters of their newer Tap Tap apps before they offered it for free. I've purchased a couple song packs too. I'd hate to just quit playing or quit getting their future major Tap Tap releases, but I'm really just starting to hate everything about them. I can't really practice the game either right now, because the lag prevents me from getting better and developing better tapping strategies. EDIT: On the subject of Disney, I once got (or bought? I can't remember, it wasn't expensive if I did buy it) an app called JellyCar (some of you may know it), and overall I thought it was a pretty good game. I'm pretty sure it was indie, but JellyCar 2 was partly developed by Disney and also published by Disney. I appreciated some improvements to the game that were likely suggested by Disney (they were extra kiddy, so even little kids could win, but they were still kind of fun), but the new levels were pretty crappy. The overall STYLE of the levels was completely changed, and for the worst. So as a whole, I wished Disney hadn't gotten a hold of JellyCar, and now I'm wary of Disney taking control of Tap Tap.
