Another... different UT path. With an edge hit instead of a pad jump (never actually pulled it off) I think someone might be able to get a WR with this path. This is my best time (14.28), but someone better than me could surely shave off two seconds with the edge hit, and by being faster in general.

Oval Blast Gold-LOL

Oval marble in MBG. Unfortunately it acted like a normal marble, except for in appearance. It is still funny though. Maybe someone can tell me how to make it act like an oval in actual collision?

Marble collision is a very difficult thing to work with. You'd have to ask whoever did the big marbles for MBP (was it Spy? or Phil).

This is what happens when I try to make a custom marble. The collision is in the wrong place. It gets stuck in walls it isn't touching, and when I hold down jump it flies towards where the game thinks the marble is. (you can see what I mean when the marble moves fast enough to emit particles...

It is hella hard to control, but I CAN FLY

I added an arrow that points in the direction you will fly when you hold space... Unfortunately milkshape crashed before I textured the arrow, but it still doesn't look too bad.

Green! (by Pokko): My best run, although I was hoping for sub 1:00. I don't think it is possible with this exact route, but if I waited to get the first gem after the edge hit, and instead got it after edge-hitting on the second TM's platform (yes it does work, I have done it on accident )... I discovered the CP hit on accident as well.

Gravity Chaos (by Frysauce [me]): Not the greatest run, but not too bad. Not much to say about it really.

Mountaintop Retreat done with only two jumps. Not the greatest run, but on the bright side I got this on the very first run that I was recording. It was also my only time finishing with so few jumps.

Nice video. I wouldn't have thought that could be done with so few jumps. To speed up your run, you could use the SJ slightly before it respawns, not wait until it has. Great trick with the SS at the end, but the leadup to it was very hesitant.

That Old Blast, the last beginner level of Marble Blast Emerald, completed without jumping. It is also possible to mine hit all the way to the checkpoint (and maybe even to the platform with the oil), but it only works when lagging (for some reason).

Nice! I had a theory about how you did the beginning, but couldn't actually do it. Nihahhat has a vid for the mine hit going all the way up to the finish. So there's your answer.
