I have another challenge: who can get the lowest elapsed time? I.E. your best time without getting any TTs.

Not sure how this would compare to others, but:

Pretty good, PF. Can anyone else leave a review?

Love the interior; it's very realistic. The level is okay, I've only beaten the qualify time a few times. It is creative, though. Interior: 10/10 Level: 8.5/10

Did you see the little TT on the first stair? Btw, once PFs vid comes out you should be able to beat qualify and Gold with ease.

Well, i loved the interior but it seems ur levels are all about ur interiors now... For the level. I give an 8.5/10. The maze was well built, ( very "mazy"). It's just with the TT's, instead of the level being a maze, it became a TT hunt. So basically all you're doing is bouncing off walls the whole time. But overall it was pretty fun. I THINK i know a good path, but i cant pull it off yet So as of now i havent even qualified EDIT: 12.31!!!!!!! YAYAY! Elapsed: 27.31 All i got was the big 15 second TT.

Now, can anyone tell me what and where the Ultimate Secret is? Also, could someone please change the main header to reflect this release? Thanks.

It's the exact same all the way up to the first 15 second TT, I just take another way to the finish (the time I get the 15 second TT at is my ending time if I don't stuff up).

PF, your vid was great. You used the same pathway as I for the first route, but slightly different for the second.

Any comments about BotS? Grades, times, shortcuts, Secrets?

Great level, probably your best yet. Has that awesome KotM feel to it. Haven't beaten it yet, though, but I'll keep working at it. 10/10

I must say, Pablo, you have become so much better at QuArK than I had expected from you. Amazing job.
In the section of BotS with the upward slant, the trapdoors, and the spikes coming down, I fell in one of the trapdoors and waited for awhile, and eventually fell through the interior (like you do in Ordeal...or is it?). That was how I found the easter egg - I could see it from there. Anyway, was that meant to be like that, or was it just an annoying glitch?

And have you found the Easter Egg and Ultimate Secret? A cookie to anyone who has! Finding them without cheating is probably the hardest trick I've ever made in one of my levels.

Yes, that's what I'm saying. I found them. Without cheating. From inside that interior, you can see the ultimate secret. Then finding the way to get there was only a matter of "How would someone evil want to hide something really well?..." But that didn't answer my question. Did you realize you could sink through those cone-esque pits?

Beat 2.15 yet PF? Once you beat it, I'll try again; but until that moment I won't work on it.

Sorry Riblet, I didn't see your question. You posted as I was typing. And no, the pits were not meant to be fall-throughable. But that's not REALLY finding them, because they're not supposed to be upside-down when you see 'em. *hint* Also Riblet, what is your grade for the level?
|
|
|
Post by Riblet on Jul 25, 2007 15:05:48 GMT
Oh i'd give it a 9.5/10 The fall throughable pits really pissed me off, along with a not-too-replayable beginning IMO.
What I was saying before is that once I saw the EE and US (at normal gravity, inside that interior with the pits) I realized I was upsidedown, and quickly found the way to get there at correct gravity.

Well let me put that another way, not to sound so egotistical or anything— Ok I admit - I found the grav mod by falling off - a sincere mistake that led me to a very well hidden easter egg. I really do suck at this level, but at least I now know the complete layout of it EDIT: removed an accidental hit of the paste button

Accidents are ok!
Anyway, I tried to slide down and out one of the stalactite pits, but it didn't work. The marble just got stuck in the interior. How long does it take for your marble to slide all the way?

Well you don't always slide through. If it stops sliding / rolling you know it won't work. I suppose if you just keep trying in different pits it will eventually work. The pit I originally did it on was closer to the top of the slope, I don't remember exactly where.

The interiors for Baron of the summit aren't showing up. I did put the files in the addon folder but it didn't work.

Put them in the regular interiors folder.
