I thought I would give you something impossible, since every idea in this thread (with a few exceptions) is deemed possible by Jeff a.k.a coding genius .

Impossible? We had a PR thread on what ideas we could steal from here We actually got a few done ^_^

๖ۣۜAddict™ I even did some research into tge's "shader" engine, which is pretty much horrible By the way until pretty much TGEA, since that used to be called the "torque Shader Engine." But yea, even the shadows in MB isn't even an "object", go figure. What i mean by that is that it does not appear in the object tree. I don't think its going to be possible to hax them in either. So, we are stuck with MB's "shadow" effect

What about the platform that increases/decreases the marble's gravity? Or maybe one that even changes the marble skin! (probably impossible)

Changing the marble skin in-game is very much possible.

^That is sooo easy *1 line of code*
increasing/decreasing, well, put a trigger over the platform, as material properties can't be hacked to edit them.

What about the platform that increases/decreases the marble's gravity? Or maybe one that even changes the marble skin! (probably impossible) I like that idea. But instead of a platform changing the gravity it could be a little pad you roll upon and wait for a few seconds. The different skins in game wouldn't really help you as a player, but maybe the skins could have different propertys. Like speed, jump impulse, and rebounding. In fact, they could have different weights as well.

Someone can make a skybox with working cloud-looking dts's that fly down and help you finish levels. For example, you have a level where there is a mountain too hard to climb, SUPERHERO MUSIC: cloud helps you float around it.

y u no come up with one, Jeff?
How about a power up that multiplies your marble's weight by 100, and a platform that is coded to break with any weight above x75.

Even though MBG's engine is horrible, lots can be done.

Even though MBG's engine is horrible, lots can be done. Even though I talk about how horrible it is, i should shut my trap. Look at think tank's engine, then you will be crying to program in marble blast's engine. Thanks seizure for letting me appreciate Marble blast's engine, unlike think tanks

There could be a different kind of gem that is a "currency" for upgrades to the marble.
There could also be a mode where the level is simply a platform with many gems and a few walls. The marble will leave an unjumpable barrier behind it as it moves. you have to get the gems in the right order.
Another mode could be a 2d mode. It makes marble blast into a 2d game with the same aspects of the 3d version.
And you know what Jeff? You're just too talented. You ever think of that?

1. MBFubar kinda does this with credits. 2. Very possible 3. I honestly don't know about this one.

It makes marble blast into a 2d game with the same aspects of the 3d version. 1. Tokens in MBF are sort of a currency.. they unlock the ability to change certain stats that in turn will affect your marble directly. Credits are rewarded on level completion just like XP, but can be used to purchase items in-game that enhance your marble's capabilities. 2. Doesn't sound that hard to implement. Jeff could do it in 2 hours. Seizure in maybe 1.5. 3. PQ has this as one of their game modes if I am not mistaken from one of the older trailers. [Here is Said Video, skip to 0:30 or 1:07]And you know what Jeff? You're just too talented. You ever think of that? Is that why he hasn't created a fully functioning AI for MarbleBlast? (Hint : The AI will beat every level's gold time. You don't even have to play anymore, just watch the game win itself.) ~Aayrl

What about a mode where You have a moving robot-like creature, then it whacks you if you are too slow and dont avoid it? Seizure can defiantly code that.

ROFL. In all seriousness, basic AI can be coded into the game, but making good AI is just a complete waste of time. Also, moving platforms mess up with you have > 1 marble object so yea, not worth it.

A game mode in which the marble makes a solid barrier after its trail and you have to get the gems strategically.

That might be like MBElite or Opal's (IDK) Trail powerup. Only colmesh's that block you.
